Green Screen

Filmmakers use a technique that is commonly known as green screen for many of the effects in the latest blockbusters.   The subject is filmed on a green background and then this can be replaced by a still image or movie to put the subjects somewhere else.  This technique can be used in schools for a variety of purposes including presenting weather reports.  Let students bring alive their reports by traveling to faraway venues.  During this workshop, teachers will learn all they need to know to get started using this in their classrooms.
